Bigger decisions. Real consequences. Conversations that matter.

What would you do if a friend was making a dangerous choice? What if you had to speak up when everyone else stayed quiet? What if an opportunity sounded exciting — but something about it didn’t feel right?

As independence grows, the situations get more complicated.

Ready for Anything is a 90-card conversation game designed for ages 16+, featuring realistic scenarios that explore the decisions, relationships, pressures, responsibilities, and unexpected moments that come with stepping into adulthood.

Each card presents a situation and asks one simple question:

Now what?

There are no right or wrong answers. The goal is to create thoughtful, open conversations where players can explore what they would do, explain why, consider different perspectives, and think through the possible consequences of their choices.

What’s Inside

Each Ready for Anything deck includes 90 thought-provoking scenario cards across three categories inspired by the situations older teens and young adults may increasingly face:

⚡ Life Happens
Unexpected problems, safety, responsibility, mistakes, money, work, travel, emergencies, and the everyday realities that come with becoming more independent.

🗣️ People & Pressure
Friendships, dating, relationships, boundaries, peer pressure, conflict, social expectations, difficult conversations, and knowing when to stand your ground.

🧭 Next Moves
Education, careers, independence, personal values, major decisions, setbacks, future plans, and figuring out what comes next when there isn’t always an obvious answer.

These aren’t questions designed to test what someone knows.

They’re designed to explore how they think.

Stuck? Flip the Card.

Some situations may seem straightforward at first.

Others can quickly turn into debates about priorities, consequences, relationships, and what each person believes is the best way forward.

Every scenario includes “Stuck?” prompts on the back to help take the conversation deeper.

The prompts can introduce another perspective, challenge an initial answer, explore possible consequences, or ask how the situation might change if one important detail were different.

Because in real life, the answer is rarely as simple as it first appears.

Why Families Love Now What?

  • Encourages critical thinking and thoughtful decision-making

  • Builds confidence in navigating real-world situations

  • Opens conversations about topics that can be difficult or awkward to bring up naturally

  • Encourages players to think about consequences, values, boundaries, and responsibility

  • Gives parents and caregivers a chance to hear how their teen approaches increasingly adult situations

  • Explores relationships, independence, work, education, social pressure, safety, and future decisions

  • Creates meaningful screen-free conversation time

  • No points, winners, losers, or complicated rules

  • Play a few cards casually or let one scenario turn into a much bigger discussion

  • Different perspectives mean the same card can spark a completely new conversation every time

How to Play

Pick a card.

Read the scenario.

Ask:

“Now what?”

Then talk about it.

Players can explain what they would do, what factors would influence their decision, and what consequences they would consider. Others can challenge the answer, offer a different perspective, or flip the card over for additional prompts.

There’s no answer key.

No perfect response.

And sometimes there may not even be one clear solution.

That’s what makes the conversation worth having.

Because adulthood doesn’t come with an instruction manual.

But talking through the possibilities is a pretty good place to start.
